Welcome to the Panther Prowl 5K
The Panther Prowl 5K is a charity run/walk event whose purpose is to raise scholarship funds for students in the Spencer Van Etten Central School District. Thanks to the tremendous generosity and continued support from our runners, sponsors and donors, we have raised over $50,000 in scholarship funds. To date, we have proudly awarded scholarships to 29 seniors pursuing college, university, and technical school education.
Each Year, the Panther Prowl 5K is run on the 1st Saturday in August. The race starts at Vergason Technology, Inc in Van Etten.
Trophies are given to the top three overall finishers. Certificates will also be given to the three finishers of each age group. This run is open to the public for individual and team runners.

The Spencer Van Etten Alumni Association has been honored to host the Panther Prowl 5K Run.
Our runners return year after year to support this important scholarship charity event.
Although this is an event open to all, we especially love to have our SVE Alumni join in with a team of friends, neighbors, classmates or colleagues.
